This was the first season my dad started taking me to away games, finishing with this famous Morley goal. Was reading Lakey's book and thought I would see if it was on YouTube

Managed to get tickets in the away end behind the goal with my dad who warned me on numerous ocassions to keep my gob shut no matter what happened. When Morley scored I did as I was told but he went absolutely ape shit!. Fortunately the Bradford fans were very understanding that day. Never let him forget that moment though.

That's where I was too. A big group of blues gathered in the front corner of their Kop, right hand side as you look from the pitch. All on the pitch after of course.

Was brilliant , strolling on the pitch in the sunshine at the end of the game ..... a bit 'eerie' though , staring at that main stand of theirs and trying to imagine the sheer terror that fire must have brought to the place only four years before.

We were in the same place.....it was full of Blues!

First game I went to was the season before but 88/89 was first season I genuinely remember City properly, must have seen the Morley goal a million times.
