Tributes to Kun from those who know him.

Definitely worth a read. Thanks for posting.

"He is the sort of player who adapts to whichever system he is asked to play in. There would be games where we wanted to play deep, and he would come back and help the defence as much as he could, offering a great outlet on the counter-attack, thanks to his speed.

"And there would be games against smaller sides, where we would be tasked with attacking for 90 minutes and breaking them down, and he would run all day to find space.

“That is the sort of player he is: he looks for space all the time. There are not many players like him, of his calibre, in Europe. Manchester City’s fans will see that he is similar to David Silva in that, but also to a lot of the players at Barcelona.

"He is like Andrés Iniesta, David Villa or Pedro: he looks for space and he is always moving. He is small, but he is intelligent. There is no reason why he will not be a star for City for years to come.”
So basically, he's like Silva, Tevez, Iniesta, Pedro, David Villa and Romario all rolled into one.

come across this on sky sports(online)today.its a quote from sergio last week and has got me like a little kid on christmas eve.

Sergio Aguero believes he can revolutionise modern football as he prepares to secure a move to Manchester City.

The striker underwent a medical ahead of his proposed move to the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday and later revealed his delight at joining the ambitious Premier League club.

City have yet to confirm the transfer but the imminent arrival of a player who has been likened to Argentine legend Diego Maradona has fuelled excitement among supporters.

Aguero does not aim to emulate Maradona, who is also his father-in-law, and has instead called himself the 'Che Guevara of modern soccer' as he plans to put on a show for fans.

"If I achieve what I want to then I'll mark a distinct era in football. I'm the Che Guevara of modern soccer."
Sergio Aguero Quotes of the week

"No one will ever be exactly like Maradona again but I really think that every so often there is a total revolution in football and someone needs to be the revolutionary who starts things off. That's me," the 23-year-old is quoted as saying in The Sun.

Making a mark
"Maradona made some 'noise' in his day and I want to roar a bit in my day - now!

"I like tricks, I like to dazzle, I like to be able to score a goal with one leg bent round the other so that you smack the ball into the net with your wrong foot.

"Dribbling and leaving your opponent on his backside is what life is for.

"If I achieve what I want to then I'll mark a distinct era in football. I'm the Che Guevara of modern soccer."

He seems to be loved by the media. And the deal itself has had nothing but positive coverage. Looks like we have really hit the big time.

Well done City.
Fook me Sid´s on board now is he - got over the disappointment quickly then

to be fair to him since its sort of confirmed he has done nothing but rave about kun and city he has even just minutes ago tipped us to now have a team to win the title on twitter!

In the same tweet, he also said we had a 'coach' as well. I assume this to mean we have a coach capable of winning the league as welll.
