Trick Football Question?

Got this email from a couple of people, and the same question is being asked on a few message boards. I reckon it's a hoax, but on the off chance it isn't...

I have recently retired from football.
I played in the top division in 5 different European countries including the English Premiership.
In each league I won a championship medal AND experienced relegation.
I scored a famous winning goal for my country.
I have played in 6 of Europe's biggest derby matches and never lost.
I played for 2 Champions League winning sides, but have never played in the Champions League Final.
Who am I?

Reckon you're right with Ziege.

Was injured for Liverpool's UEFA cup final.

Could mean that he won a lower division title. Like the 2nd division in England?
