I was just installing a game on the laptop for the mrs and avg has detected a trojan horse in the game. I bought this brand new from PC World about an hour ago. Is it just AVG being over sensitive ? I can't see PC World selling stuff with trojans on.
Ideas anyone?

Could be sneaky PC World adware? If it's never connected to the internet it can't have been infected by anything...unless you've plugged a USB drive in that you didn't realise was infected.

It's a .exe file and it's on the disc. AVG picked it up during the install and I didn't continue with the installation.
