Trouble in Belfast

I have been watching the trouble recently caused by the decision to limit the amount of days the Union Jack will be hung above city hall.

What was the reason behind this decision? Surely they knew that this would add to the existing tension.

I'm not really an expert on this but do you think that one day people in Northern Ireland (whether they feel british or irish) can put their differences aside and just get along?

Stupidest fuckers over there to be honest. I have a lot of family over there and thankfully they don't get involved in this nonsense. I guarantee you most of the people throwing petrol bombs wouldn't know if a flag was flying or not if there was no announcement.

I hope that this flag issue is the end - the last post for sectarianism.

The modern world has moved on from this. and its a minority of idiots that would drag things back to the dark ages.

A good idea would be to remand those arrested to prison in England whilst their cases are heard. One thing these idiots don't like is being removed from their own little kingdoms.

Fucking stupid if you ssk me. It was a democratic decision made by all the political parties. Is it true that you only fly a flsg from official buildings on certain days on mainland uk ot are they a permanent features?
