I'd expect Turkiye to get the win here but I don't think it'll be easy for them.

Turkey and Georgia a little unusual in that they are part Europe, part Asia and Czechia ( Czech Republic) not too long an independent country.
These matches could be more a history lesson than a footballing feast.

we (turkey) do not have a striker in this tournament... barıs alper yilmaz (galatasaray) sometimes plays there but actually he is a winger... he did well as a strker in a few games. baris alper yilmaz was the best player in turkish leage last season (as a winger); check him. great player.

cenk tosun (besiktas- ex everton) is a veteran striker but he is not playing regular for years, also he is not the first or second striker of besiktas.
also there is a youngster semih(besiktas) who is 18, he is talented but no experience...

so, no strikers as of today:)) same shit happened in 2008 but we played semi finals :)))

we also still dont know if arda guler (real madrid) will play today or not. or which position will he play...
we still dont know our starting eleven.. our striker, our right back, our mid center etc etc.

the squad is young, has the potential. did play a few very good games. esp against croatia last october.
(also probably you know, juve guy, kenay yıldız.. just 18. he has a great potential.)

but still we dont know what will happen until we see the starting eleven and today's game..

so lets wait and see :)) cheers

ps: we also do not know who our 1st goalkeeper is:))

and also THE BIGGEST PROBLEM, I FORGOT:)), we dont know who our 2nd defender central, next to abulkerim. prob that ''samet'' guy will play... so so problematic.

yes. also georgians and norh eastern turks are relatives.. turkish prime minister also was defining himself as a georgian... .. georigians and turks are relatives. only different religionwise...
for instance, when shota arveladze (and his twin) transferred to trabzon (very close to georgia) in 94 at the age of 21 he was speaking fluent turkish :)) trabzon area is closely related to georgia...

:)) unfortunately at the moment fights started between fans :))) in the stadium...

turkish fans are banned from germany since years..even turkish clubs can not arrange frienlies in germany.
because turkish fans attending stadium in germany are local german turks.. and you know... incidents happen a alot.

starrting eleven of turkey is announced

up front
arda(real) kenan(juve)
barıs is striker( from gala)

defence central is problematic that ''samet'' guy is involved.
