just got back. WOW

What a place. What a golf course. Great long weekend. Reccomend it to any golfer out there

I am going in April, really looking forward to it. Did you play the Kintyre and the Ailsa?

went to the open last year, imo its a boring course to walk/watch but i couldnt help but think that it would be amazing to play

Played them both mate with a night in the Turnberry Hotel too. Cost us about 240 but that included 3 nights in a log cabin in a place called Newton Stewart about 40 miles away and 2 rounds on 2 local courses too.

Shot 11 over on both of them. Conditions were as you'd expect. Windy as fuck haha. And with those tight fairways, the tee shots were incredible. Even for me off 8

I birdied the Stroke Index 1 though which wad nice

You'll have a blast mate

I just want to break 80 on the Ailsa! Will probably struggle though. Hope we get nice weather! Playing the Kintyre on the Sunday and Ailsa on the Monday with B&B in the hotel.
