As I don't have Sky (none of my Geordie mates do either) and not enough loyalty points to go the away leg I was wondering if anyone knew of a pub in the Newcastle Upon Tyne area that is definitely showing the semi-final tomorrow night?

I've gone round all the pubs in Cramlington (where I live) with Sky and they will be showing Everton v Sunderland for all the Mackems in the area! I really don't want to be watching a match as important as this over the internet. Any ideas?

Cheers.

get yourself into the back garden, scan all the neighbours walls for a dish, then knock on with a homemade sponsor form, tell them it's a school/work/college/uni thing that you have to watch an hour and a half's worth of football in a house that's not your's. if not just get the phonebook out and start phoning round boozers!
good luck blue.

You will find thats the match shown all over the north east. I live in Durham and my local will only have the mackems on. dont know if there is a multi screen sports bar in Newcastle, I am going to the match so hope you find somewere to watch it

Have you tried the Centurion pub in town, they have the biggest screen too. That's the one in the Train Station.

If my drunken memory serves, there's a sports bar in the gate is there not? I would imagine that would show it, dancing girls in there too ;)

Players? That is a great place. I was there on the 28th watching the Wolves v City match whilst scantily clad lovelies gyrated on the podium. I couldn't watch both so watched City. You've got to get your priorities straight!

In fact scrap that, I found it on the web it's called Players and is showing the Everton game.

Maybe Shearers bar won't have the Sunderland game on ;)

They sometimes show the Newcastle match live even when it isn't on TV but I will give it a whirl! It may be hard to get parked around there though as they are at home to Crystal Palace!
