TV Coverage

It's probably because the timing only got decided on Tuesday last week, and all the choices had been made by then.
Screwed by the carrot dangled by hte BBC that they wouldn't show Wigan.

I can't believe half of this conversation. Yes I agree United being on is a joke, but we are playing Palace - totally uninteresting game between two Premier League reserve teams (and I say that despite flying down from Scotland for it myself). No one can begrudge lower league opposition being on, that's what the Cup is about. The lot of you - stop with this "we should be on at all times". And by the way - away tickets are on open sale tomorrow so if you live in the UK - get down there for the game - it's 25 quid for adults and a fiver for kids - almost free.

No way will Pep field a reserve team for this game.

As someone earlier in the thread has already mentioned, we were picked to be the live game but palace refused so the game could be played Saturday rather than Sunday's slot on TV as they play Bournemouth on Tuesday night. Works in our favour with the extra days rest for West Ham on Wed's.
