TV Fixtures - 2020/21

Yup, that Sheffield Utd game is still listed at 3:00pm for us on 30th Jan and no TV pick yet.

Don't know what they're waiting for ... might announce with Feb fixtures. I thought they were waiting for FA Cup draws that's why did round 4 and 5 together, but no news on their fixtures either.

Might be some announcement tomorrow for both cup and league then hopefully

Cannot believe they have not chosen Chorley v Wolves ffs, lowest ranked team left and they choose - Brentford v Leicester - Chelsea v Luton - Everton v Sheff Wed and bloody Southampton / Shrewsbury v Arsenal

BT Sport has picked that one, BBC would have the first pick so twe know which one they picked for Sunday, then BT would have picked Chorley and then BBC again got ours for Saturday, then BT picked Arsenal one and the BBC got Chelsea and the rest on digital platforms ... is my guess.

Where'd you pick that from?

On FA Cup's official site, it's listed as Friday night game and opener for round 4 and on BT Sport's press release (below) it also seems like that was their first/main pick.

FA Cup fourth round: BT Sport to broadcast 11 games including Chorley v Wolves and Wycombe v Tottenham

Eleven of 16 fourth-round fixtures will be shown live on BT Sport from 22-25 January, including non-league Chorley’s latest glamour tie.

The FA Cup continues with 11 fourth-round ties exclusively live on BT Sport, including non-league Chorley v Premier League Wolves and Wycombe v Tottenham.

Five matches will be broadcast on BT Sport 1 HD with the remaining six available on our digital platforms and BT Sport Extra channels.

See the full list of fixtures below as we have you covered from Friday 22 January right through until Monday 25 January on a busy weekend of action from the world’s oldest cup competition.

A huge weekend of cup football gets underway on Friday 22 January when National League North side Chorley, who beat a depleted Derby County in the third round, host Premier League Wolves at Victory Park.

Sixth-tier Chorley, who beat 2013 winners Wigan and Peterborough to reach the third round, saw off the Rams who were forced to field a youth side after a significant Covid-19 outbreak.

They celebrated the win with a sing-along of the classic Adele hit ‘Someone Like You’ that captured the attention of the singer herself and the Magpies will be hoping their love affair with the competition continues against Premier League opposition.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s men beat Crystal Palace 1-0 to reach the fourth round and they have the opportunity to avenge a 3-0 loss to Chorley in the FA Cup in 1986.

On Saturday 23 January, the winners of the rearranged third-round match between Shrewsbury and Southampton will host holders Arsenal.

The third round clash between League One Shrewsbury and Saints is also available on BT Sport, with coverage of the 8pm kick off on Tuesday 19 January on BT Sport 2 HD.

The Gunners needed extra-time to beat Newcastle, but Mikel Arteta will be eyeing back-to-back FA Cup wins after an upturn in form.

We have five more games on Saturday afternoon exclusively on our digital platforms and BT Sport Extra channels.

Bournemouth v Crawley, Brighton v Blackpool, Swansea v Nottingham Forest, Barnsley v Norwich and Millwall v Bristol City are all live from 3pm.

There are two more potential upsets on Sunday 24 January when Championship Brentford host Leicester City and Sheffield Wednesday travel to Everton.

Leicester powered into the fourth round after beating Stoke 4-0 but will have to be on their mettle against Thomas Frank’s impressive Brentford.

Everton will be confident of overcoming Sheffield Wednesday, but will be wary of the Owls who have improved since the dismissal of Tony Pulis.

We also have an all-Premier League clash between Fulham and Burnley, available to watch on BT Sport Extra 2 HD and online.

The fourth round concludes on Monday 25 January when Wycombe welcome Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham to Adams Park.

The Chairboys have struggled to make their mark on the Championship so far but will be dreaming of a famous upset after seeing off Preston in the third round.

Spurs eased past Marine of the eighth tier of English football and are one of the favourites to lift the trophy in May.

6pm KO now. Cutting it fine that, with all the tension of the Trump/Biden handshake and good wishes etc. Anyway, I’m sure it’ll all go smoothly, ‘nothing to see here’ ...

LOL, yup ... here it is ... (and so the PL end of Jan and Feb shouldn't be far behind)

With, er, "alternative" methods of watching games, being live on the Beeb doesn't get the juices flowing like it used to. There's barely a game you can't catch live these days if you have access to these alternative methods.
