How weird is it as a kid i saw him as a lowly ikkle English actor compaired to the massive hollywood machine that was pumping out blockbusters.
Now as an adult i see how great an actor he is and 99% of american actors could not touch his ability, or any actors for that matter.

The Fosters,it was gash but it would be cringeworthy to see a 1970's take on a Afro-Carribean family in the UK.
The Lovers,Richard Beckinsale looking very young and the not so good looking one out of Man About the House.Lots of shots of 1960's/1970's Manchester.
Any of the Alexi Sayle shows or Q series by Spike Milligan,which I haven't seen for years,very surreal.
Rising Damp,it would quite easily translate to the modern era.

This is coming back in early 2013 for one more season on Netflix. There is even a website lobbying for the return of Steve Holt! the original series was ace, then again I am only 20.

The issue is getting the stars of the show, that genuinely made the shows... D. Jason/N.Lyndhurst OFAH - Will Smith for FPOBA.

Some things are best left as it would ruin them, people have mentioned Only Fools (got all 7 series on dvd); Phoenix Nights could maybe pull off another series; The Office UK could have had another series, but not now due to the success of the US show; Fresh Prince was class and no one can replace Will Smith; Partridge could easily be written again for a comeback.

Jericho as an American one, intrigues by that show, love my apocalyptic shows, and this was original plot due to it being America being nuked then EMPd, and the twist in whodunnit.
