TV Series

Finally got round to watching the responder and not only is it rife with scouse accents and god damn it’s depressing. Not sure I can cope with much more of it.

Over the last few days we have just done a re-run of this series. An unsettling and intracate journey inside genocide you could ever wish to watch.

Exterminate All the Brutes

“The very existence of this film is a miracle,” says its creator, Raul Peck in the final episode of Exterminate All the Brutes—and that might be an understatement. A four-part experimental documentary that takes on the unwieldy, bitterly contentious subject of white supremacy since the so-called Age of Discovery, Brutes is unorthodox in both content and style. Drawing heavily on the work of leftist academics, the series also incorporates scripted passages and animations that serve as guided meditations on human suffering more than as visual aids. It may well be the most politically radical and intellectually challenging work of nonfiction ever made for television.

Just finished 'The Lazarus Project' and quite enjoyed it. Wouldn't really say it was great and nowhere near as good as say 'Dark', but it was easy watching and enjoyable. Hopefully they do a series 2 but kind of get the feeling it will drift aimlessly in the way many of these type series do. Fingers crossed for it as has good potential.

Just watched the first episode. The acting is bloody horrendous.
