TV Series

Anyone watching that Netflix prog about the girl who went missing after entering a lift in LA?
Remember it at the time & was quite queasy (but made far more mysterious than it probably was).
I presume the TV version will run along the same lines.

What's it called mate? I know the girl you mean and always wondered about that one. Very weird.

Expanse is shite after season 4. Finished Crown recently - absolutely brilliant. Currently alternating between Ozark and Halt and Catch Fire. Don't like anime one bit, but watched Avatar: The Last Airbender last year and it was really good.

Remind me mate...?

loving this show with my boy (haven’t caught ep6 yet).
Is it really only 6 episodes? It was just warming up!

No, it's a 10(maybe even 8) ep run, I think.

Now, I thought this was a multiverse thing, but I've watched it again and re-evaluated my original thoughts.

Now I'm thinking 'Mephisto' as there's a lot of references going on.

Ahh - good news....we’re both really enjoying it.
Thanks.

By the way, if anybody remembers 'Clarice Starling' (remember to creepily roll the 'R' in her first name!), she has a show now.

Just having a look and it looks a little promising, but I won't get my hopes up.

Cinematography is very nice, though!
I was looking forward to that but I think it's just on reg. cable t.v . They're not really known for putting a lot of money into their shows.

I was considering it but have a feeling it will leave me feeling queasy.

it’s a desperately sad tale given a ghoulish bent via the poor girl’s behaviour.

It's one of those cases that really gets you scratching your head though. I feel like I need to know what happened to her (although I'm sure we never will).

Although it's not a series,' I watched Police: Paedophile Hunters on C4 on Catch Up. Feel like getting sick to be honest.

Some seriously sick vile people in this world. Poor cop having that as his job every day! Credit to you sir.

I'm not sure what else you were expecting?

The Officer would also have been a very highly trained volunteer, although that fact will not prevent the mental health consequences.

Watching the vanoshing at the cecil hotel on netflix

On the first part this hotel reminds me of Sashas.

by the 3rd part is all very fascinating and steange

There was a low life degenerate on that program who found pleasure in watching the rape of an 18 month old child, having another forty class A videos stored on his computer. He only received a two year suspended.

What is wrong with our criminal justice system that allows manifestations of lax sentencing. Is it not high time we built more prisons to protect our populace from these monsters.

Some citizens decree the rehabilitation of the offender and maybe I could concur by offering a choice of determinate prison time in conjunction with a chemical castration, or alternatively life to mean life with no parole.

You cannot rehabilitate someone whose sexual preference errs toward prepubescents. The tireless work the police force do in bringing them to justice, only to be set back free into our midst is a national disgrace. Ten years for lying to an immigration officer, do not make me laugh!
