I can live with James Martin, and have gotten some good recipes from him over the years.

And I did like his honesty when asked by a guest once, the difference between Gravy and Jus. 'About seven quid on the menu' was his reply.

Seen ours and the aussie one this year , new zealand one on now , lol, seriously though it is good for your mind to watch frothy stuff along with more serious stuff, i still watch docos and all the drama shows etc

Most TV is for people that need to be spoon fed the manufactured 'entertainment'.

Free audience entry to shows that producers prompt the audience to 'laugh' or 'cheer', canned laughter in stock, repeated situations already seen elsewhere, TV soaps that are tired and uninteresting but are considered 'national TV'.

They don't tell you what ingredients to use, what amounts, or for how long..... They just tell you what you are seeing..... What's the fucking point. Its the equivalent to watching a football match on Ceefax. You know who's won and who scored, you just don't know how it happened. A total waste of time
