Given our current injury list, and run of games, what teams would you put out in the next 2
Away at West Brom on Boxing day
Home to Burnley on 28th.

V West Brom I would play the same line up as we played V Palace

V Burnley it would be
-----------------------------Cabellero----------------------------

Sagna Boyata Mangala Clichy

Fernandinho Fernando

Milner Lampard Sinclair

Pozo (or Jovetic if he is fit enough)

They're professional athletes and imo if not injured they should be able to play every day. We play WBA & Burnley who have much weaker squads than us and imo they're the teams who should be worrying about who's gunna play 2 games in 48 hours. That team you've put down to play Burnley is a joke and simply won't happen pure lack of respect towards Burnley who ain't all that bad of a side.

Hart

Zaba Demichelis Mangala Clichy

Navas Silva Fernandinho Yaya Nasri

Milner

For Burnley

Hart

Sagna Demichelis Mangala Kolarov

Navas Silva Fernando Yaya Nasri

Jovetic

Full backs & Fernandinho, Fernando like for like only and if Pellers is rite Jovetic back in.

I think you will find that most other Premier league teams will NOT be rotating their starting eleven over this period.
So why should we?
Get the strikers back when fit and just keep winning.

Same team as yesterday for both games. Except maybe start Lampard, Fernando and Jovetic if available for the 2nd match.

They are professional athletes, but they are still human and you can't recover in 48 hours and if you work inside the recovery period it will be sub-maximal and there's an increased chance of injury.

The old adage of "one game at a time", you play strongest 11 against West Brom with no thought whatsoever about the Burnley game. After the game, back at HQ you assess how everyone is feeling and choose the next side accordingly.

Good thing about the Burnley game is that Dyche will come and attack so we should be able to pick holes against them quite easily.

Our lads will have played Wed**Sat***Wed**Sat******Sat*****Fri*Sun***Thu**Sun
(* are days not playing), by Jan 4th including all of December, that's 9 games in 33 days, they'll cope, they've coped with worse already this season.

We should rotate no more than a couple of the positions, fullbacks primarily, and use the subs cleverly elsewhere, as we did yesterday.

Sinclair shouldn't be anywhere near the pitch except in an absolute emergency, this notion that he's in the shop window is a joke, just email the other clubs, then they'll know, we could include a video of him in training to show he's "fit". His situation is not his fault, and I have sympathy with it, but wasting a place on the bench, or in the first team, just so he can be in the shop window is utterly pointless, he has an agent for that.

just one or 2 changes, remember last year against Palace 48hrs after beating Liverpool, it was dire but we ground out a win.

Make changes for FA cup but not league, as long as no more injuries, we have Frank/Fernando/Cliche to give fresh legs, that should be enough.
