Soccer News: TFA Product Tyler Stierli Signs with Manchester City FC Academy
A dream is coming true for Total Futbol Academy (TFA) product Tyler Stierli. Earlier this year the young center mid was invited to trial with Manchester City FC for possible consideration with the club’s Academy. A strong player both attacking and defending, as required at his position, Tyler had drawn the attention of scouts from the English Premier League (EPL) giant.
TFA recently received word that Tyler has officially signed to play at the Manchester City Academy, a move that is made easier because of his family’s close European heritage. He now has the opportunity that most young players only dream of – to play with one of the world’s top professional teams.
Tyler is the sixth player from TFA who has been invited to trial at Manchester City since September 2013. Currently another unnamed player is being considered by the club, which would give TFA two players in one year signing.
TFA President Paul Walker, who has dedicated himself to helping talented but unnoticed youth players to improve themselves and showcase their abilities on a wider scale, says that Tyler’s signing represents “serious hope” for other aspiring players in the club.
Congratulations to Tyler Stierli and Total Futbol Academy.
