12 mill- on a second choice left back (bridge)

The best thing we can do is to get in mourinho

de jong WAS NOT available for 1.8 million, he had signed a new contract in november

bridge would have been first choice at any other club

Bellamy is not past it at all, the alleged clause in De Jong's contract that would have allowed clubs to buy him for 1.8m in the summer didn't exist anymore ever since HSV extended his contract a while back, I think most Chelsea fans will tell you that they think Bridge is better than A.Cole and that Cole was picked ahead of him to justify spending so much on him, Shay Given is probably the most consistent and best keeper in the league.

this is nothing like man city, since when can you remember we went after world class players, and had world class players in the squad went out and spent the most money in the transfer window than any other team got in 4 new signings. i wonder if we go on to win the european cup and come second in the league you will say typical man city.
