U17 UEFA European Championship: 03/05- 19/05

I always thought England kept the youth lads strictly to their own age groups, surprising. A bit of a sea change or have I missed others?

To be honest I'm not sure about the FA's stance on keeping age groups strictly together but I can think of only one other that has made the jump from U17 to U19, like Sessegnon and that was Nat Chalobah when he was 16 got called up to the U19's in 2011. I know guys have jumped up a level from U18 to U19's mainly due to there not being any competitive competitions at U18 level so they will promote like they did with Reece Oxford last season and this season Trevor Chalobah and Mason Mount.
