U23's Premier League Cup

'The tournament will be split into eight groups of four clubs, with each team playing their opposing clubs home and away. The top two teams advance to the knockout stage. Dates to be confirmed.'
BOOOOOOOOOOO

Edit: Sorry, wrong competition.

How come we didn't enter the premier league international cup this season?
i think it's down to the number of fixtures. U23 league, U19 uefa cup and this competition means we could be a bit stretched. A number of the EDS are also eligable for the FA youth cup and with the amount of players we've shifted out on loan there's possibly not enough squad depth for that amount of games. Think that's why they didn't enter the Checkatrade trophey as well.

That and we've a lot of the academy lads involved with busy international schedules this season.
