UEFA Cup final tickets!!!!!

Ive got about 3 accounts with City, 2 of them probably have more than enough for a ticket, but on their own they probably wont be enough 2200 ish..

But as Dave said above, i will be doing my best to get a ticket, even if i have to pay over the odds. Providing i can afford it, i am sure there will be some sites offering a ticket and flights at a knocked up price, but it's worth it.

That said we have a long long way to go!

got to say you are the first people that i ve come across to win in the ballot, although i applied, i was only going to let someone on here have them, as it happens, i got the old knock back, but good luck to you lads lets hope our team make it now, of couse i will be there with my ticket through the club, heres praying its our year

How do you know you got the knock back?
You can't log on to check until saturday.
Are you assuming you have been unsuccesful because your bank account hasn't been debited?

Easily be enough imo, i dont think well sell the 11'000 as quickly as people suggest, the ammount of people who can afford to go to istanbul for a game of football isnt that large.

If we got there i think there would only be 10'000 city fans there. When your next sat at coms if you look at the two people to your left and the two to your right you will struggle to find 1 in that 4 that would go to Turkey

It wouldn't necesarily be just season ticket holders or even regulars, either.

At Schalke, for example, there were hundreds who haven't watched City for a long time. Old faces come out of the woodwork for these sort of games. When we played Hamburg away under Keegan it was like a convention of 80s hooligans in the square.

Demand would be huge. And the problem with loyalty points is that those who are not going will often get tickets for others.

I've got around 3100 and I reckon I might just get one.

but I'm not worried, because i'd get one somehow if we got there. I'd pay way over the odds if I had to.

and there was what, 3500 of us in Schalke, you wouldnt get 4x that ammount travelling further and paying more to go to Istanbul

I hope we get the chance to see who's right.

In my opinion there would be miles more than 4X the number who went to Schalke.

Schalke was an early qualifying game.
This would be the final. Out first final for nearly 30 years.

I tell you, loads would want to go. We'd have 20K plus in the stadium, no doubt.

Why is everyone buying them now and not waiting to see if we get there? There will be plenty of tickets made available by City and then you get to sit in the City end rather than neutral bit.

Are you real "plenty of tickets available" We are getting 11,000 and it will be a mad scramble with about 40,000 applications.

Arsed mate Ive got over 4000 loyalty points so doesnt matter to me.

We only had 800 tickets for Aalborg but there were still plenty of spares knocking about once we got there.

Myself and 3 others I know have all had our credit cards charged already. I assume if your card hasn't been charged by now, you've been unsuccessful. Official email notification goes out tomorrow.

didsburydave is right, if we get there it will be full of blues, first final in over 30yrs everyone i know is planing to go, thats why i done the ballot, not heard yet but if i get them and get mine from city, i will sort out mates that were unlucky face value of course.

we would sell the allocation of 11000 no problems and i think a further 7/8 thousand would turn up on the hope of black market tickets
