Announce the contracts on the 10th , piss everyone off and also spill the beans on the CAS result.

I was thinking this myself, we must get to hear the verdict in advance of the press release so that both Uefa and ourselves can have our statements ready.

It would be great if we then announced a number of new contracts being signed in the days prior to the announcement.

A big two fingers to Uefa, David Gill, Rich Parry and Liverpool FC.

hardly sets us up well for future assaults if we blow our "holier than thou" positioning at the first opportunity to gloat.

All mod leave has been cancelled, and all ex-moderators have been asked to return for one day (“we’re getting the band back together”). Nothing is being left to chance.
"Mod leave"?

Not sure about aguero. Time to say goodbye while still on top, for me, time to replace him and send him off on a high, following next season
What age is his young fella now. Surely as tall as Sergio and has good pedigree. Get him in now before Dortmund or Ole come calling to Sergios back garden

i would hope we have many irons in the fire ? but the CAS case is holding back city and new signings are waiting for the verdict and if we lose it could be a hard summer trying to get players to come and also have to keep the good ones at the club

Those things don’t bother me, I’ll take each day as it comes!
If the ruling is upheld, we’ll still have the best club in the land and all the world.
Our support will still turn up, and the club will keep progressing having taken another hit.

However, I don’t expect it to be upheld in any shape or form.
Which will leave us free to pursue the clubs goals with renewed enthusiasm and vigour!

so true and in good or bad am city till i die

I like the positivity........... Not!

hahaha

its not like we have been done up like a kipper before by uefa is it

being the riches club in the world and debt free does not give you any power at uefa ? in fact it goes against us and the voices from the so called elite on the board will fight tooth and nail to get rid of us completely ? if uefa lose this case it will change football and uefa and european football for ever

uefa can not afford to lose ? manchester city can and this is my fear with the result from CAS. the bigger picture is so so big for uefa to lose and manchester city will become the leading power in england and europe

True, English clubs were banned for 5 years because of the behaviour of Liverpool fans. Not that city qualified in any of those years!
Actually we missed out finishing 5th in 1991. This was because the English co efficient was ruined due to the 5 year ban.

In 1992/93, the League Cup winners got their spot back in the UEFA Cup, but two more still missed out in the league, in Arsenal and Manchester City. Same again in 1993/94, with Blackburn Rovers and QPR not making it. In 1994/95, another place was gained in the league which meant just Leeds were denied UEFA Cup football. By 1995/96, European qualification was back to normal in England for the first time in ten seasons.

Someone mentioned this morning that Simon Mullock and Rob Harris were on SSN. It was actually Sunday Supplement and they talk a fair bit about City and FFP. For anyone interested it is a 10 minute section from 47:25 on the Sunday Supplement podcast.

Mullock (city fan) is straight down the line but half-way through "I am told one of the big drivers behind the decision to find City guilty of financial misdeeds was Rick Parry". I'm aware many have speculated about this in the past but I've don't think I've heard it stated so explicitly by a member of the media. Bearing in mind Mullock is generally very reliable with City stuff (he had the hacking info years before and said Liverpool went legal to suppress the story) it strikes me his info here is also City.
Quelle surprise!
Illustrates perfectly the nonsense of uefa committee membership.
