It is.
Basically Keegan has a 2 paragraph snippet pointing out the the Rowland people have also had something to do with working for Prince Andrew. This is the reason it has suddenly become news, and the Man City Xtra text is misleading over the point of it.

Basically: finance/developer people work for people shocker.
Does that make us European Royalty by association?

Getting spooky this. I was thinking the same type of thing about 3 hours ago but I only had my phone and don't use it to post because I make loads of typos and it takes ages to write one line.

A bit off-topic perhaps but BBC Football reporting that CFC expecting a ruling from CAS on their transfer ban very shortly.

I honestly thought (and after last weeks UEFA`s top brass visit) that we would have heard something by now.
I hope our Top Brass are not spitting feathers and the visit was not to pass on any negative news.
I`ve been pretty comfortable all through the process ... but as time passes it does make you wonder.

Pretty obvious though, isn't it? To find out if the ban for January is cancelled, they need to know quite soon.
Yes. But it will be interesting to find out what CAS do. I am not ineterested enough to find out the nature of the charges but the outcome is significant for CFC and by implication City.

I wonder what the nature of their appeal is. The papers don't ever seem to report what CFC's argument is.

Don't know - presumably severity. They're probably hoping for the common-in-the-past halving of a heavier punishment.

I don't think there's much to read on City, as we have nothing through FIFA for CAS to deal with.

It was a FIFA led investigation regarding playing under age foreign players in competitive matches. It's similar to the one that we got a small fine(2 or 3 players involved in a handful of matches from memeory) for but in Chelsea's case it was:

A judgement published by Fifa showed 150 rule breaches had been committed by the club involving 69 academy players over several seasons.

So the outcome is of no relevance whatsoever to the UEFA investigation of us.
