This is the End Game now

A dossier on Europe’s biggest clubs’ financial dealings that City have been collating over more than a year could come into play. City will want answers about the finances Juventus receive from Fiat, and may also bring up Bayern’s contract extension with Audi. [@TheAthleticUK]
As much as I like the idea, I don't think CAS will be interested in that.

I don't always agree with Wilson but I respect him. There's something deeper going on in all of this.

that could be true. I posted the other day about a possible conspiracy theory regarding what if the end game in all this was to actually destroy uefa so that a breakaway league could be formed

Has anyone entertained the thought that our owners and leaders have hoodwinked Pep, the players, the staff and us, the fans, and actually, it's all true....and we're fucked already?

It's almost starting to feel like a naughty kid who thinks that the longer he denies it the more chance hell get away with it.

For a thousand and one reasons I hope I'm wrong.

Nope and if that was the case,

well typical city.

Let's say for instance Kev went to the scousers (Considering he isn't guaranteed CL football with the rags) imagine the shitstorm he would cause it wouldn't be worth it to him IMHO, he's a decent bloke from what I can see. As long as they are being paid the same as they are now they might just show some loyalty, that's my head in the clouds take on it anyhow.

Money is certainly the reason most will stay, but at the same time it is very hard for players to leave when the club doesn’t want to sell and they have a long contract. Pogba and Zaha are good examples.

Seeing as we keep saying irrefutable evidence, it’s highly unlikely it’s just a process gripe that we have.

Agreed, and not if it's true that we have dossiers on other clubs financial dealings as I've been reading. There is definitely a case for promoting the inconsistency of sanctions, if any at all, for other clubs dealt with, or not by UEFA

Anyone know if it is true fact that our players were “summoned to a meeting “ yesterday with Soriano ?
If so, presume Pep was there as well ?
Feedback anyone ?

Will City's appeal to CAS be based on a flawed investigation process that we believe was prejudiced, or can we go into interpretations about the meaning of certain pieces of evidence?

i believe it is the former and this is a bit disappointing and limiting because most of UEFA's case (that we breached their rules) seems flawed to me and based on interpretations of related parties, and the government of Abu Dhabi.
It is at least the former, and if you read the club statement possibly the latter Marv. I would suggest there will be posters on here who will be abe to give a definitive answer.

Doubt there is any truth to that. Who would leave? The majority of our player’s contract run up to and beyond the summer of 2023. Even with a ban we would be back in the CL by that point so why would anyone leave if we do not permit it?

The Telegraph yesterday found an 'expert' lawyer who claimed that as City had misled the players, the players could argue that (if the ban is not overturned) their contracts with City are null & void ... and so simply declare themselves free agents and join another club for free.

Clearly this would completely ruin the club we all love overnight, and can only assume / hope that this kind of thing is scaremongering / wishful thinking by our haters, of the highest degree ?

Have you always been a twat or is this something you have recently developed

Champions league is not guaranteed. if we are eligible, but don't fonish top 4, we don't play in it, the club doesn't just void the payers' contracts, the same would work this way too
