I don’t care what kdb thinks or says and can’t trust the media but if it’s true than was it necessary to come out like that ?
Fuck

You are over thinking it. We won't be losing any player under a long-term contract.

A contract works two ways. When it has more than three years left to run, it works in the club's favour.

Sterling is about to sign a big deal with Puma, he's getting that as a direct result of being with City.

There's a reason City decided to hand longer term deals to likes or Raheem, Kev, Ederson, Jesus, Bernie and Laporte.

They have wanted to avoid a repeat of Sane situation.

City will not be losing this case.

Ready for bed, work in the morning..

Bit of catch up reading before lights out and just wanted to log on and say, with all the negativity that's being banded about regarding our club and players at the moment, this post has cheered me right up..!

Thanks again Tolm for your updates at this difficult time. They are much appreciated and bring some cheer. A good way to end my day.

So if CAS appeal can't happen before we start the season, i'd assume we would at least ask them to give us a seasons break for this. We have not been able to execute the right to a fair appeal, the fact that Coronavirus has come and if the Champions League does go ahead next season, us not being in it would have a hugely detrimental effect on our sustainability. I think CAS would be open to allowing a suspension of the ban until a fair appeal can be heard, in person.

shevtheblue. I remember quite a few years back that a team was suspended from all European competitions. They went to CAS and were allowed to compete in that years competitions until there appeal was heard. I can't remember which team it was but it may have been a team from Italy. Now if that rule still applies we will have to wait until they do the European draws later on this year.

I have been on the CAS website and we are not down to be heard until at least July. The hearings to be heard are up to the end of June, and we are not down for any of them. The hearings for July are not yet up on the board for hearings. If you go on their website you can get the court judgments e-mailed to you. I hope this helps.

I wouldn't have thought UEFA could afford to not allow us in before the appeal at least at CAS level has been heard.

£Millions & £Millions.

I think it was AC Milan? The guy at CAS said the other day that there are no timelines for hearings and its all down to availability, if we can get in there when they re-open and be available then there's a chance.

Well as it stands, we are banned from next season. I think CAS have the power to suspend it, but AFAIK we have to put in a request to CAS for that and we haven't yet.

I cannot believe that our management haven't taken steps to ensure that in the event of CAS not being able to hear our case , we have or will request a suspension of the ban.

even though @tolmie is so confident of the eventual outcome .

My previous understanding only a few weeks back (during lockdown) is that we are not trying to delay the process despite the letters collectively instigated by eight of our Premier League rivals to UEFA.

It is certainly within our right to bog it down - the fact we haven't done so would also seem to underline the absolute confidence of Khaldoon and the bosses.

I suppose until the fate of the current Champions League competition is determined, there is no reason to show our hand just yet - no resumption would surely put UEFA even more at the precipice of financial meltdown?

CAS can clearly state they can hear any appeal via live link.
