Give' em a seat at the very back of level three.

Half of the fat bastards can just about walk.

Burnley's press box is right at the back and some of the sights down the years...

Laptops going flying, people running backwards and forwards to the press room on the ground floor, it really is the way to go for us!

I like that, they would have to walk past us and run the gauntlet every game

Im not sure anyone will know but how quickly will we find out the result of the appeal?

Im guessing over the 3 days that the appeal is taking place that there will be all sorts of bullshit reports from every media source claiming an inside line but hopefully it is kept absolutely a closed door case until its over.

If the result is a negative one, is there a next step appeal/higher court we can got o if we are so convinced that the case is a false one?

I am not sure a law suit is the best revenge against Der Spiegel anyway. If for example someone could show that they only used selected parts of the stolen material to run a campaign, their reputation for doing well researched and independent, investigative journalism could quickly suffer a lot. That I think would harm them much more than any law suits ever could. In fact I think a law suit might even help them as they defend the free speech against the evil Arabs. We need a much more subtle plan if we want revenge. I surely want revenge by the way.

They have previous......https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...t-made-up-interviews-fabricated-a8692006.html

If the ban was reduced to 1 year it wouldn’t be worst season ever to miss out on, in fact, it would probably be the best ever.

Virus still out there, empty stadiums etc. Might even benefit the players that they can be with their families more.

If the only way you can earn money next year is by TV then we need to be in it, loss of that revenue would put us back but would be worse for the Rags.

If it's anything like similar cases then it could be three months

Galatasaray appealed to CAS on 11 March 2016 and on 23 June 2016, CAS announced it was upholding the Adjudicatory Chamber’s decision and dismissed the appeal (https://www.tas-cas.org/fileadmin/user_upload/Media_Release_4492.pdf). This is an interesting example of the possible timetable City can expect.

Be prepared if it’s a positive result for us for the media to brief their legal representatives to push for an instant appeal and failing that a public prosecution in Tameside magistrates. If that doesn’t work then they’re going to scream and scream and advise their ever so bitter raggies and dipper writers to find out straight away from Karl Heinz what their next course of action is.

They moved £50m of losses to the infrastructure losses which are not regulated by FFP yet this was spent on a few pictures and plans seems very excessive for what they got The losses that they wrote off? Not sure but guess it’s was debt they inherited from Glicks and Gillette

FSG took over from Hicks and Gillett in 2010. The offsetting of the £50m against FFP conveniently took place in 2015 when Liverpool were about to fail FFP.

I expect the judgment will be by mid August

When sporting integrity is dependent upon the decision then CAS will expedite it, eg an athlete taking part in an event I expect the decision by end of June
Maybe but you can expedite a hearing, you can't expedite the speed a judge writes or decides his/her/their decision

I hope this question makes sense

I think it's certain City's opening argument will be that UEFA haven't followed their own procedures and this will be followed by the rest of City's evidence
When the panel withdraw to consider, if City are correct on the procedural argument and that is enough to have the ban and fine overturned, will the panel still consider all the other evidence even though it's now null and void!
What I'm asking is, if CAS agree with City on UEFA's failure on procedure, could we have a decision in a couple of days?

can this be over turned in the 3 days ? and does uefa have any other powers to turn to if city win

the findings after 3 days and if city win is uefa and its FFP is fucked and newcastle and any other clubs with plans for money take overs will be crazy. if city lose then newcastle take is dead in the water and the cartel elite clubs keep walking all over manchester city and a impossible fight city will never win

Good question. I’ve not seen any submissions on the web site but I presume that City would have given clear reasons for the appeal. I expect that all the submitted evidence and reasons for appeal will be examined In turn and only afterwards will each item be considered on its merits to give an overall view. I suspect City would want more than UEFA’s procedures criticised and what would then be sen as getting off on a technicality alla PSG. However, that legal opinion I read pointed to this being City’s strongest case.

The Newcastle takeover is irrelevant to this. If anything, there’s talk of a relaxation of FFP rules due to the Covid-19 outbreak so Newcastle can probably go out and spend a shit load of money regardless, especially as Ashley - despite being an odious fat bastard - has got their accounts in pretty good order with regards to FFP compliance which gives them plenty of leeway to go out and spend big.
