Amazing how these clubs aided by the muppets in the press have convinced 9 out of 10 football fans that it is legitimate for them to make up their own rules about how other clubs can and cannot spend their own money. It’s basic facist policy adopted by the masses.

Well it has smoked out some additional enemies apart from the usual suspects . Let's hope we can repay them soon for their efforts to fuck us over.

Jesus this thread depresses me.

Football is one murky, cesspit of an industry, I'm honestly at a point of knocking it on the head if the club can't overturn all this, what's the point?.

Chin up. It always was, how do you think united and liverpool are light years ahead of everyone else in terms of league titles. Whatever disillusion you might be feeling, the fact is we have simply brought it out into the open so that even the most one-eyed fan can see it.

FFP only formalised an existing position and by making it transparent, they have, in my opinion, done irreparable harm to their product. They have reduced their self-professed football superiority to overt financial superiority. A history of nothing more than wealth and greed.

United and liverpool fans can no longer pretend that there is anything special about their clubs other than being historically the richest. That must hurt and I'm not surprised their fans have reacted badly.

As a City fan, I'm loving it and, if the very worst were to happen, remember that in FFP terms we're in an infinitely better position than in 2008 to re-emerge even stronger. The ride we've had has been unbelievable, the ride back, if it becomes necessary will be even better because we now know what we're dealing with.

Grassroots football and non league levels 3-6 concluded for the season.
No promotions or relegations from any leagues.

Looks to me like the FA are doing it in stages, writing this season off and starting a new next season.

The most sensible outcome in my eyes, looks like they will do the same for professional leagues surely?
