I get your point but this approach hasn't exactly helped us so far has it? They just dismiss, delete or not report any counter posts or positive stuff about our club or fanbase, it is just relentless negativity and lies.
I agree that has been their response but that will happen regardless, unfortunately.

And the alternative just gives them more ammunition, allowing them to post more anti-City bile, only this time with specific examples of vile abuse from blues. Of course that is what they wanted all along, so why give it to them?

So we can feel better for five minutes before getting angry again when they throw the abuse back at us in another negative attack?

It’s playing in to their desire to make us in to a supply line for their biased coverage, and I for one won’t be manipulated in to being their lackey.

The bigger problem is that there is no basis to retrospectively revalue our sponsors. We are a top club in the English Premier League and there are plenty of other deals equal to or larger than ours - so in theory our deals represent fair value. Etihad currently get the shirt sponsorship, Ground and Campus of the English Champions and a Champions League participant for less than. Chevrolet pay to get their names on a mid table team in the Europe League. There’s just no way that UEFA can down grade the amounts because we could and do get sponsors from the open market. Our sleeve sponsor is not a Middle East company and is at the upper end of the spectrum for the league. UEFA really are targeting is specifically and they are really not on very solid ground.

This is an important point. When our sponsorshops were first being valued for the purposes of FFP, it was as a relatively unsuccessful club and only a potential place amongst the elite. With the benefit of hindsight and our phenomenal rise to the most successful club of the decade, I expect that if they were being revisited, if anything, they'd be shown to have been undervalued.

They shouldn't be answering ANY questions on the subject. Just state that the club has made their statement and Pep and the team are here for football matters not legal ones.
Then should have said “ If you don’t like it mate you know where the door is!”

History has shown that UEFA can. This is the magic of fair value. I posted earlier the disbelief of the Octagon (audit team used by UEFA) guy after Emirates and Lyon sponsorship. FFP won't investigate it but if it was between City and Emirates, there would be immediate suspicion and an investigation would have been launched. This is what it is.

They interpreted the emails as if it was a proof of your sponsors being related parties and as such they can pull whatever numbers out of the hat and put you in break even deficit. The club will get their own valuation by an audit team and refute FFP valuation.

I don't really like MU but looking at FFP, i have read lot of different reports on their shirt value. It seems the value is actually fair. It was a bad deal for Chevrolet because it the markets of MU and the carmaker are not aligned but it would be a tremendous deal for other firms. I have even read that they'll likely break the record for shirt sponsor on their next deal. Their shirt value is around 90 M€ for the main sponsor according to the specialists.

So this harris geezer is having to back track and indirectly apologise? Always knew he was a shithouse, thought he was a clever **** calling us petrostate and accusing us a club for promoting human rights abuse.

Well he's made his bed now he can lie in his own shit, he's a stuck up cocky little twat that should be nowhere near football reporting or a football stadium in fact, he thinks he is some kind of politician or spokesperson for the middle East.

He's bit off more than he can chew and I hope we find the time to throw the book.at him and take him down, he's a poison to journalism , not that it needs more poison as it's a cesspit of wankers but he's a gobshite who knows the grand total of zero about our owners, our club and us as fans.
