The full quote is:

The Directors are entirely confident of a positive outcome when the matter is considered by an independent judicial body.

Are they referring there to CAS, or UC of UEFA? Minor point. Would you refer to UEFA's UC as independent? More so than the IC I guess but more likely they are referencing CAS?
Or..don't fuck with the big boys.

I assume that the AC decision making is independent of UEFA's ruling council. I assume that UC means AC.
Yes. I had Upper chamber in my mind.

I was just wondering if this quote in the Annual report specifically references the pending decision of UEFA, or whether it means that City are expecting a sanction of sorts from UEFA which we intend to take to CAS.

I guess there's no way of knowing. I suspect they were referring to CAS as the annual report was probably produced a while ago and is unlikely to be contemporary comment.

I suspect their use of judicial means they're not referring to any of the ****s at UEFA

The words seem to suggest that, if Uefa rule against us, we will go to CAS or further.
I know that, but BBC journalists had referenced it, and I am wondering if it's a current statement of optimism in regards to the reports that UEFA Adjudicatory Chamber is now thought unlikely to ban City, or whether the independent judiciary they refer to is CAS.

I think it was more a heavily weighted comment that if the AC is neutral, City are fine.
Equally, that If the AC come up with a punishment, it means they're not neutral.

AC is supposed to be made up of financial and legal experts as opposed to the investigatory chamber who are UEFA staff. I was wondering if this comment was relevant to recent news from the Athletic or whether it's just a general comment about the validity of City's claim.

I think MillionMilesAway is probably right.

Yes, I initially thought that the directors actually KNEW what the decision was going to be, but @Marvin put doubts in my mind. We really don't know, but Khaldoon and this report are bullish. So I believe one way or another we will win.
