Maybe, just maybe they are simply dragging it out to keep dragging us through the mud. If as City believe, there is no case to answer then it is in everyone's interest, bar ours, to keep dragging it out as long as possible. The more mud you throw the more sticks and it allows the gutter press to keep reminding everyone of our guilt.

On the other hand it may be because UEFA simply don't know what to do. If, as most of us believe, UEFA have no credible evidence and the IC kangaroo court made several procedural breaches and if they find City guilty of some bullshit charge and levy a fine, no matter how small, they'll face a ruinous legal backlash. If they don't and declare City innocent the old establishment clubs and the vermin involved with them will go ballistic.

Hang on that is my point. They have made an almighty fuck up and despite what the Usual Suspects want, they cannot get it, but UEFA can keep dragging this on so that the likes of the Guardian can keep posting shite about how we are going to be banned for 3 years. It was late summer last year when they said it would be sorted in January. That gave the gutter press 6 months to print shit, now they delay even more and the GP regurgitate all last years bile. Unless City force their hand in someway this could go on for years. all the while it becomes more entrenched in peoples minds that we are guilty.
