It was $480m and we can use it for whatever we want to use it for. The only thing that matters from an FFP point of view is transfer fee amortisation. So if we go out and spend £250m, that goes into the accounts as an expense of £50m a year. If that takes us outside of a 3-year allowable loss then we'd be at risk of failing again. But if we sell someone like Sané and make £100m profit, that essentially takes care of that £50m extra expense for 2 years. The issue from a club point of view is have we got the cash to fund the transfers in the first place. And we will have. Can the $200 mill from the shares issue be used for transfers within FFP I can't see how it can?
Whether we use it for players or a new stadium in NY (or both) is anyone's guess though.
