Can see it being changed to a 1 year ban after we appeal and we'll accept that. Really can't see us wanting to drag it on and on by taking UEFA to the courts.

Speculation and no way players have already made their minds but I see Sterling the one to leave

it’s complete and utter bollocks. Are we meant to believe that someone has gone in and canvassed the entire playing squad. And then leaked it the athletic.

*edit - agree about Sterling

This was somehow suggested as plausible by Paul Wilson in his article today on the potential ramifications/fallout with UEFA that could lead to its demise.
It makes no sense. Who are we possibly going to play them against? No one in England obviously, so then you have your pick of overseas clubs minus anyone good enough to get into the Champions or Europa Leagues? Oh you have to travel for it. People are going to buy tickets for this? Is someone going to televise it? Probably not so then you have half a share of the gate receipts? It's fantasy land.

If you believe reports, City turned down Ceferin's negotiated settlement which would have been a nominal sanction so why would we accept that? It would also open the way for Premier League action. I am not sure how real that is but it's something that the other Premier League clubs will be pushing for.

I don't know how true the ceferin reports are but a couple of months ago, the expectation was that City would escape without a significant sanction.
