You are so correct...I mean it's not as if the dippers have any previous form for causing trouble is it...
They are obviously innocent victims as always..
It's fine to turn up to grounds with no tickets and forged tickets and try to climb over and endanger their own fans too.
Maybe the policing wasn't perfect but they were dealing with the scummiest fans in Europe.

Absolute horse bollocks.

Not a single fan has been seriously injured despite thousands turning up with fake or no tickets. It’s sad that children and adult fans with real tickets were caught up in it but the French police HAVE done their duty and probably saved lives.

The blame lies with the criminals who tried to illegally enter the stadium knowing they didn’t have a real ticket.

20k valid tickets issued + an alleged 40k ticketless / counterfeit ticketholders turned up. When it gets past 60k complainants its gonna be like the French Resistance - post war over 1m claimed to have been in it - Resistance records indicate it was never officially bigger than a couple of thou members at any one time.......

I'd say the the blame lies with the criminals who supplied the dodgy tickets to be fair.

If you were there, and thought you were buying a "real ticket", you'd probably have bought one.

The reason I ask is city apologised quickly twice at the end of last season, once for the "Booing" at the semi final & once for the "Attack" on the villa keeper before any proper understanding of the situations became clear,
it might seem a bit daft to apologise before knowing the facts but it does help to cover yourself & defuse the situation & it also puts the people who want to criticize the club on the back foot & I think shows a bit of class,
Would Liverpool fc not have been better issuing a statement along the lines of "were sorry if our fans have been in any way to blame but we ask for a full uefa investigation & we will be making our own enquiries"
I think its the fact that anything that ever happens with there fans, and there has been plenty over the years, is in there view 100% never there fault in any way whatsoever that really winds people up (apart from the british media obviously who back them up completely without question)
