UEFA to propose FFP replacement plan

So clubs can only spend 70% of their revenue on wages surely this is just another way of helping the big clubs like Real Madrid Barcelona Manchester United pay higher wages and therefore attract the best players.
Thereby making it harder for clubs that have recently come into riches to attract the best players.
Once again it's all about protectionism for the established clubs and making it harder for smaller clubs to pay bigger wages.
This will deter investment into the market such as the proposed takeover of Newcastle.
Sounds like PSG maybe pushing that as their business case seems to be buy the best and put them on wages no one else can afford. Creating a new elite.

Well the American Owners know that the Saudis will get huge Sponsors from Saudi Arabia to bypass some limitation. That's why they don't even bother to implement FFP, they just stop the Takeover. It's corrupt

My take on FFP is that it exists only to cement the 'istree clubs positions in the C/L.
City were very fortunate in getting into the C/L positions and were probably perceived as being party poopers for 1 or 2 seasons at most.
When it became clear rhat we were there to stay, only then was FFP introduced.
The new FFP rules will be intended to hinder us whilst allowing the 'istree clubs to continue with their spend, spend, spend policies relatively unrestricted.
In my opinion...

Doesn't apply in Scotland. Rangers have lost over £10 m for the last few years. Now, Im not a mathematician, far from it, but If you are year on year posting massive losses, isn't that living beyond your means? Obviously not, because if it was, then there would questions asked at the SFA and UEFA might want a natter. Phew, how fortunate is being in that situation? Everything is a above board though. Its just that Euro wide rules only apply to other people. Not, The People.
