I've always thought that too.
They have the intelligence to travel here from places we don't even know exist yet they haven't twigged yet that if they turn off the lights then no one will see them.

It's not a new thing, it just goes under different names depending on the time period, it's been going on for 1000's of years, Jacques Vallee (him and John Keel are the only ones worth reading on this subject) stated that it's far stranger than anything we can ever imagine and he would be amazed if the answer came from out of space!

Or an angel telling us it'll all be 'OK'?
I'm unsure where I stand on a lot of UFO stuff.

Vallee wrote a book called Passport to Magonia, which has become a classic (it's hard to get hold of) John Keel wrote several, they more or less sad that the phenomena accompanies Mankind, in olden days it was fairies etc (they did the same things) but also think about the Trickster, In mythology, and in the study of folklore and religion, a trickster is a god, goddess, spirit, man, woman, or anthropomorphic animal who plays tricks or otherwise disobeys normal rules and conventional behaviour, UFO's fit the bill, very slippery

Sounds interesting. Along the same lines of Graham Hancock 'Supernatural' which traces a similar lineage but also has a psychoactive plant and inner space thing going on too. Hard to explain without making it sound weird.

Not really, Valle and Keel really researched their stuff (Valle is a top notch scientist as well) if your interested try and get hold of their work, you will never read another UFO book again you won't need to, not that they have any real answers but I beleive they point in the right direction
