Anyone else catching this legendary melodic hard rock band, one of the fines this country has produced, on what is rumoured to be their final tour?

Still three original members, including singer Phil Mogg, and on the back of a really strong new album Seven Deadly too. Should be a great gig......support from the latest incarnation of The Heavy Metal Kids too (sans Holton no doubt, lol)

I'll have to dust off my Doctor, Doctor 7" single and give it a play ... for some reason it was 33RPM not 45.

Fantastic band, Doctor Doctor one of my all time favourites. Seen them a few times late 70's early 80's, quality.

Quite a few of their singles were 33⅓, think it was when they had two songs on the b side - I've even got one that's 33⅓ on one side and 45 on the other! Is yours the live version from Strangers In The Night? I hope it's on clear vinyl!

Really hope it ain't the last ever tour. One of the few classic bands Ive missed seeing that I'd love to see. That Strangers in the Night double album is an absolute top draw live record. UFO could rock, but they also had a lot more warmth & feeling than other similar bands. I remember hearing the radio broadcast of them supporting Deep Purple in 84 - lights out in Knebworth.

In fact, I shall have to pop over to YouTube for a bit of a fix ;)

If you're going I'm v jealous - enjoy

(the new record is great too!!)

If this doesn't bring buzzer out of hiding, nowt will.

Lol ^^^^^

They were great by the way......Two hour set, Mogg's voice as good as ever. (Though did drop down a key for a couple of particularly hard to sing songs) He was chatty and with a beer in hand seemed 'relaxed' (But not too relaxed to affect his performance, lol)

Paul Raymond doesn't seem to have aged much at all, the two 'new' guys on guitar and bass were top notch players and performers....fitted in well.

Few tracks from the new album went down a storm (it's been out long enough for people to get to know them) and of course all the classics were played (including my fave Love To Love) ending inevitably with Rock Bottom, before the encore of Doctor Doctor and Shoot Shoot.....cracking night....
