UK far right trouble

I was born in 1962, and spent my first 20 years in Moss Side (Claremont Rd) up until 1973, when we then moved to Longsight (Birch Hall Lane) until 1982. I never had any issues in that era.
Just Google crime 1980''s Moss Side, there's plenty of evidence, as I said it probably wasn't as "dangerous" for locals but I worked in that area (nearby) in Betting Shops a Manager and detested it due to the number of incidents so mine and yours empirical evidence is at either end of the scale.

Safety in numbers, I'd did the same going to my first game around 1969, wouldn't have walked around that area at night on a non match day.
Correct. 30 years ago, I was drinking in the Beehive before and after matches with no problem. One Saturday, me and a mate got chatting and drinking in there after the match and lost track of time. At about 7:30, we looked up and realised we were the last two match attendees in there. We were quickly advised by the bar staff to get out and one of them even drove us into town to get us gone quckly.

I think the country is at boiling point. Britain as whole is at boiling point , I think that tragedy has just blown the lid off. My local town last night a restaurant was attacked and the p word and allah was sprayed on the wall.

All the extremists seem to have a god. You never heard about athiest strongholds being sieged by agnostics.
Recent trends point to more of these people simply being drawn to violence- the god or political belief can be unimportant or flipped on a whim. People are being conditioned and owned by social media lies, conspiracy theorists and an underlying evil baseness in their personalities stoked by what thy consume on the web.

Which is your local town?

Coming home from a game one evening (Hartlepool in the cup I think) I nearly got stabbed by three reds who pulled knives out on me.

Moss side could be seriously bad for your health. I lived in Gorton then and that was rough as fuck but Moss Side eclipsed that and then I moved there like a daft ****.

You just mention right wing misinformation, is that your only bone of contention here?

It's what sparked the riot last night.

A false Muslim name was given the night before as the attacker. Then another false story that a man was heading to the vigil with a machete.

Both started by and shared around by far right accounts.

This is inarguable over what started it.
