UK far right trouble

@Kirkstall Blue I've long said that the media used to report the news, now they make it. Now it’s 24 hour coverage they need incidents, they deliberately blow up story's out of all proportion. They have long since stopped being neutral.
Families are not allowed to grieve anymore one look at people laying flowers and there is the camera man taking pictures to flash across the world talking to everyone they catch hold of from a little girl crying on TV to the man holding one little girl bleeding after the attack, all for a story it takes it into making a film about the grief in Southport.
The police are stuck in the middle trying to do a job I don’t envy them one little bit, everyone blames social media but it’s 24hr news as well.

Talking about it now on Sky 24 blaming social media not realising they are equally to blame she’s just repeated in London they are shouting “stop the boats”

Yep tonight took my daughter to cheerleading, door would not be unlocked until 5 mins before session started, waited with her until let in, then couldn’t go upstairs to collect her, I usually wait in car anyway, the kids were escorted down by someone and only let out when they knew someone was there for them. Bloody shit times now but I’ll nkt let the bastards stop us, if I have to I’ll stay all night with her at her session if I need to.
Mine are grown up now but like you say I'd have stopped all night before I'd risk some vermin hurting them. No way I'd let kids live in fear and ruin their lives.

Sad I suppose but technology has allowed everything to come into our living rooms almost uncensored now, rightly or wrongly. We can see what happens on the other side of the World instantly.

Fucking cunts, no other words for it.

Just seen those respecting the situation, laying flowers and other stuff to respect those who have had their lives needlessly taken.

Then you get these, people who have no respect at all and are using it to spread their hate and division.

Most of them shithouses as well, need a crowd to get them up.

Fucking cowardly, shithouse cunts.

Saw an article the other week about how kids grow up in Norway, go to school and back home on their own, at the weekends they're out all day playing or exploring, taught from an early age to be responsible and independent. They even say it derives from the Viking in them.

But yes, I know, we're not in Norway (or Kansas) anymore.

Probably just a safer place, we use to get ourselves to school and home when we were 6 or 7 years, that was when Brady and Hindley were plying there trade as kids meant nothing to us I suppose. One of the first memories was a crowd trying to get at them as they were being taken away in a Police van course there was no internet to organise a giant crowd.

Why would releasing all the information pose a risk to the girls families, Southport, the surrounding areas and police

Basically a question for Bert38

Over 100 people have been arrested in the protest outside Downing Street tonight, the Metropolitan Police has said.

They were detained for offences including violent disorder, assault on an emergency worker and breach of protest conditions, the force said.
