This was a meeting of the Women and Equalities Select Committee, they were talking about the Scottish National Party's Self ID Bill.
Listen to the SNP MP, she does what so many do when it comes to this issue, first she quickly mumbles a lie about the rejected amendment and then....
Of course there are SNP MPs willing to defend this bill with gusto....

SNP politicians who oppose Holyrood’s controversial gender reform bill should resign from the party and stand as independents, an MP close to Nicola Sturgeon has said.
Alyn Smith, the MP for Stirling, said party colleagues were “obliged to defend the SNP position” on any proposal in the manifesto upon which they were elected.
Smith, a member of Sturgeon’s standing council on Europe, criticised SNP rebels who voted against the Gender Recognition Reform (Scotland) Bill, which would have accelerated the process for trans people to change gender without medical intervention.

There's nothing unreasonable or controversial about what she said today. It's possible to believe that some people have gender dysphoria and that others are simply confused or acting out for an ulterior motivation.
The sexual and violent offenders (with facial tattoos) and habits of smearing faeces are not transgender and they ought to be housed in a secure facilities to care for their severe mental health issues or housed in sex offenders wings on the male prison estate.
Here's a case that demonstrates that point perfectly. An overindulged person with Aspergers syndrome raised by older parents who were compulsive horders, he then developed an unhealthy "fame" on the internet for his strange behaviour online and in person.

Christine Chandler, 39, known as Chris Chan on YouTube, stomped her feet and demanded to be taken home during a hearing at the Green County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court in Virginia.
