I advise everyone coming to Kiev to bring Euro’s or USD to the Ukraine. Not many exchange banks change Sterling and because the English are in town the banks will be giving a crappy rate for the Pound.

Also DO NOT change money with anyone other than OFFICIAL Exchange banks or High street banks. The Official Exchange banks can be found in hotels, Banks and exchange Kiosks, these will have a list of currency prices listed outside the bank.

Do NOT change with touts or taxi driver, you will be given fake notes or simply be ripped off.
Also when you arrive if you need money at the airport only change a small amount, say 20 quid’s worth or 20 Euros because the rate will be CRAP!!!! The best places (And Safest) to change money are located on the High Street. Shop around for the best rates.

Think i'll use cash machine, take it theres loads of them in centre?
