We didn’t have the players we have now. The issue then was we didn’t create number 10s as footballers in England, we had Gerrard & Lampard when others had Messi, Figo, Ozil, Iniesta & Silva etc

They described them as “crack” players & Southgate coaches as if he doesn’t understand their worth. A luxury player whereas Croatia, Argentina & Spain put 3 in a team.
 
To have all that talent at your disposal and not have the first clue how to get the best out of it.........fucking criminal.

The useless **** is going to destroy a generation of talent that should be blowing opposition off the field and achieving greatness,instead we have to put up with the baffling shite we witnessed last night.

It's that daft fuckers tactics or lack of them. Even Dion Dublin who's not the sharpest tool in the box said we looked a bit lopsided, which was a huge understatement.
A certain person on here can trot out statistics all they want. It's a fact that the qualifying groups are favoured heavily for the bigger teams, therefore the win percentage is higher. We have achieved what we have in spite of Southgate not because of him. A better manager would have won the Euros, playing at home with the talent at his disposal. We scraped and stuttered to the semi finals at his first world cup and scared tactics meant we lost. Same against France. The man is fucking useless, a negative scared tactical.moron with no personality or charisma. He's perfect for the fa as he's a typical diplomat never saying or doing anything controversial. The grey fucking man.

Italy, Germany and Brazil currently have their worst teams they’ve ever had in the history of the game.

This means nothing.

There’s no comparison with different teams from different eras who played against different teams to the ones England currently face.

There aren’t that many good international teams anymore. Wales and Morocco can piss it to Euros and World Cup semifinals. As I’ve said previously, Southgate has never played a team anywhere near as good as the 2002 Brazil team that Eriksson faced, who were in my opinion the greatest international team of all time (Lucio Roque Carlos Cafu Silva Ronaldinho Rivaldo Ronaldo Kaka Juninho Denilson all in that squad).
