Comes over as a bit of a prick when up here.Yes. He supports Rangers and the Boro. Comes across as an all round top guy.

Really enjoyed Nicky Weaver part 1 and am halfway through part 2. Very funny and the whole show seems like a good craic. Nicky comes across as a nice bloke but lived his drinkThanks for the recommendation. I’ve just listened to the Nicky weaver one. Thoroughly enjoyable and weaver comes across as a right good lad. Some cracking stories as well.
Listened to a few of these mainly the ones with City connections. Are there any other good ones I need to listen to?
Never new Biggins was a pigeon racing, tab smoking, northerner or that John Sheridan was a boyhood blue. Thought he was the raggiest rag from ragtown. Was sent a clip with Wayne Biggins on this platform and he sounded a right good laugh ( only seen a short 2 minutes).
Had Jeff Winter on over a couple of days and it's not bad to be honest.
Well he had 3 years out with injury and actually said getting back in the team after those injuries was his greatest achievement so think you're being a bit harsh.I’m in the minority here but I wish I hadn’t listened to the Nicky weaver one.
I used to love Weavs but he comes across as a typical footballer of his generation. A total pisshead who pissed his career up the wall. Joked about the joey Barton cigar incident that ended a young lads career, made racist gags about a tour to china, and came across to me at least as a bit of a dick.
In the Tunnel Club
I listened to both episodes.I've listened to every one of them except the Mills one, couldn't stomach an hour or more of him, can't stand the gobshite.
I listened to both episodes.
A very good listen. He doesn’t big himself up at all, reckons he got lucky throughout his career. When you listen to how it ended at City you can understand why he didn’t play again when he was getting dogs abuse on here.
He had an insurance policy he took out against injuries curtailing his career. If he had played another game , even a friendly it would have been a declaration of fitness and his policy would have been null and void. He said the policy was paying him not City. Comes across as a disrespectful cock about most of his managers.
Keegan,Pearce, Sven (England) all weak.
Pardew , Curbishley he loved. It is an excellent warts an all insight into the game listen to these pods.
That’s Wednesday players for you. Although in Kevin Pressman’s case, it was food rather than drink.Really enjoyed Nicky Weaver part 1 and am halfway through part 2. Very funny and the whole show seems like a good craic. Nicky comes across as a nice bloke but lived his drink
As did Danny Mills hate Jeff Winter. The Jeff Winter one is fabulous entertainment. He comes across as a really decent bloke.
And he hated Danny mills so he’s alright by me.
He talks very well, like a cross between Bob Mortimer and Chubby Brown. The Jeff Winter one is fabulous entertainment. He comes across as a really decent bloke.

Enjoyed that one too, hoping in part two he's got some more stories about his city days, although it seems that he maybe didn't leave the club on good terms.Just finishing up the first part of the Ste Howey ep, he's got some great stories. The pods been some good value, thanks for the rec!
