Seems that a lot of MCFC transfer business is done with 'Undisclosed Fees'. I've never understood this concept. Why are fees undisclosed when our accounts are open to public scrutiny? Can someone explain the pros and cons of the 'undisclosed fee'?

We are a Ltd company. Surely our individual transactions of our accounts are not open to public scrutiny (although the final balances will be).

Maintains market value. If folks know we paid say 10m for Sinclair... Then when we go in for the likes of a "Robben" (just saying anyone) its keeps the valuation fair. We'd be hardpressed to buy Yaya again... especially if folks know we paid 10-12 less for Rodwell. Cosidering Yaya is 4 times that player.

Without revealing the full contract you can´t get an accurate sum..Add ons, loyalty bonuses, sign on fees, wages etc etc.

All you get is the base sum if the fee is disclosed, which at times is less than half of the real sum
