Unexpected treats

When I used to use cash, finding a tenner or twenty in a coat I hadn’t worn since the previous Winter.

A completely out of the blue £1700 cheque through the post about 10 years ago - I paid for a brannie Land Rover 10 years before that and because the finance company had not sent me a very specific statement each and every year they had to pay back ALL the interest they'd charged me over 4 years! Lovely.... I'm sure there's a few others on here who got something similar back over the years...
