I keep reading and hearing this, but i've yet to hear Koeman or anyone else at Everton,
say they are interested in the has-been.
I am dubious to, Koeman is no mug and can see what we can see surely? Barring him going potty i can't see one reason he would even consider it barring a courtesy to help generate interest in the hope some other mugs fall for it.

I think he would be happy taking his wage sat on the bench tbh, the fact he does not take care of himself kinda adds to that assertion he is a bit lazy and we know he has no shame.

I never got the 'he played from a young age' stuff with Rooney as his excuse, Milner is going strong, played the same number of games, came through young. the one difference is Milner is disciplined and always looks to get better or at least stay in peak condition. For the wages he has enjoyed i would have expected much better from Rooney if i was his manager. the result is a fella who hit his absolute peak by 26 and has gone down hill pretty quick since. He should have been coming into his prime then, not fading away.

Anyway, i hope he stays.

Can't see anyone else wanting or affording him. Looks like it's MLS or China.

Morata's a good player but how's he gonna get on in gouger's defensive team,suppose they can always sell him about lining up alongside smelling,the face carlton,rumpole and so on,and not forgetting the chance to go for the European equivalent of the charity shield soon..

I've always liked and valued Ibra up until he joined the scum. Ibra is a unique talent - and would likely have won the BD except that he was unfortunate enough to play in the same erra as Messi/Ronaldo.

At 35, how in the hell is he scoring so many goals? - why, because he's a freak of nature and remains one of the top footballers in his generation.
==============
At 35+/36 - no way I'd extend his contract either.

Love him or hate him - value him as world class as I did or not - I think his time in competitive world football is now done - USA MLS or China is where Ibra will likely land next season.
According to quite a few pundits during the season his mere presence in the dressing room was huge for united because he's big time player with a winning mentality. He presumably dragged them up to 6th through the sheer force of his personality. I wonder where they will finish now he's gone?
