The drop off in form this season has been a total piss take from start to finish

Not just this season - same happened v dippers in CL - playing out from the back successfuly requires quick decision making and perfect execution - Peps weakness as a coach - no compromise and players programmed to play one way only - dippers have adjusted their style this season - haven’t been spectacular but are getting results - we haven’t been spectacular either but not getting results - will Pep re-invent himself ? - doubt it myself

while i partially agree with you (Centre half is a huge issue and i think we need two) - we are also going to lose David Silva and Sane this summer- We know Foden will replace silva but there is a drop off in quality there and thats not a slight on foden as Silva is truely world class

The loss of Sane (cheaply) will really fuck us over - he hasnt helped this situation but allowing himself to be openly courted by B.Munich

We are going to have to deal with not having Kun at the top of his game as well....its obvious he is half a yd off his peak now and that aint going to improve next year - and how the hell do you replace him (please dont say Gabby!!!)

Ive noticed people always use this arguement in defense of Gundogan - "neither were x amount of others good" or something along those lines. This is true BUT its no conicidence that when we paly poor it more often than not revlvoes around another poor performance from him

How many times do you see him NOT in the side and people say that x didnt play well but neither did 6-7 others......? I belive he has a very negative affect on the team performance and its not just what he lacks individually (which is fight, pace, defensive ability, creative ability)

Absolutely shocking today. Defence all over the show. Otamendi not a clue and Zinchenko I like him but he got done a few times and left for dead. For all the possession we had hardly created anything and tested De Gea consistently. Just poor. Ederson let's be honest the man is fantastic and hardly ever puts a foot wrong but today of all days he had his shocker. But what other great keeper hasn't.

I hate losing to the Rags. But 3 times in the space of 3 months with the same tactics against us we havent adapted. Look It's not effected the league in anyway so hopefully we have had our shite performance now before Madrid.
