United (A) Post Match Thread

Does anyone still rate Rodri?....
I do, he is excellent, but play him as a sole central DM and do not pair him with another one who is old and forgot how to play in that area. Gundo would have definitely improved things, but something changed in Pep after so many times being on the receiving end of smash and grab losses.
I read Chilwell's interview in today's The Guardian, where he said they have mindset right now they cannot lose. This is exactly what our team - still the best alongside the dippers in my view - has lost and Pep doesn't help with his talk, with his attitude, with his actions on and off the field. But what really made me angry is the fact we should be winning this game 2:0, even after this mediocre performance, this is not 2006 where drawing half of your games gets you to winning the title.

The fucking shite Neville and Keane spout! Why the fuck is it down to us to take the game to United??? They are the home side, their team has been assembled for a fortune, these clowns are talking like we scraped a draw away to Scunthorpe!

I can’t believe the incompetency of the pundits here. They are ignoring the fact that if we went all gung-ho and tried to break them down at all costs. We would have lost 2-0 if we had done that. They would have counter attacked the fuck out of us and with results.

I have a feeling this commentary will age like milk. Just a feeling.

Spot on mate. Our two most creative players were on the bench. It’s really bizarre what goes on in Peps brain sometimes. We’re looking more and more like a mourinho team. Hey perhaps he’s going for the clean sheet trophy this year.
We are arguably further away from winning the chumps league now than when Pep first arrived. Where do you get a Yaya, a Silva, a Kun and a Vinny from. I believe we can still challenge if the players really have a desire. If?

Same goes for Foden. Looks like this will be his fourth season of 'not quite being ready yet'.
When foden sits there watching that dross and doesn’t get a sniff again then you couldn’t question him if he started to consider his future if this keeps up. Sterling and Mahrez are yet again total dross yet we will see the same decisions week in week out.

Could we be looking at the possibility of fans coming back next season, but us kissing out in top 4 and playing in the Europa League?

We look miles off currently

we have to be different and hard to beat in respecting united

so what if we did not win ? we did not lose and its going to take time for the whole time to settle down because we are missing a striker. jesus is not a striker and can not play back to goal or smell a chance like a striker does. we need a top draw striker in jan even if aguero becomes fit and ready to play every week. there is a very big hole up front and we are not giving KDB something to hit

jesus is a problem for pep and city in the way pep setups up the team. we are asking for jesus to be a lone striker and lead the line but jesus is far to lazy and turns off ? yes good with the ball at his feet and can be a really problem to defenders if he gets on a run from 30 yards out

we should be straight in for a top draw striker come midnight 31st of december ? go for the best even if its coasting us big money it will be worth every penny to this team and KDB
Jesus lazy?
that’s a first.

Anyone think Sterling is worth over 300k a week right now?

He doesnt change games or be the stand out player. Is he regularly the motm?

1st touch is awful and unless its a tap in I wouldn't bet on him to score.

Not saying the result is all down to him but fuck me he is mediocre right now.
That’s been the case for a long time we all
knew his weakness when on 1:1 but now all his good virtues have disappeared, he use to win us games now he the biggest culprit for us not winning I don’t understand how he gets away with it week in week out
