Well there's one or two on here advocating his inclusion in the starting eleven, fuck knows why after that Wed night horror show.

Whenever Cancelo starts a game you can guarantee he'll be the first player to give you that 'Ahh FFs!' moment.

Agree, but at this moment in time we more or less know what Ake brings. Cancelo, massive gamble imo.

I wouldn't trust Cancelo to hand out the oranges at half time, let alone start.

This team is what i want to see, what we'll probably see is Lewis starting as inverted RB, Bernardo and Rodri as a double-pivot, KDB playing as SS with free role. Phil and Mahrez hugging the touchline. Sideways back rinse and repeat.

Bernardo will play within his shell because of Kdb presence, Mahrez will be scapegoated, and Kdb will lose possession five times before actually making a decent pass.

That was intentional, his only claim to starting atm is 'oh he can produce a moment of brilliance'. He's a better option coming on from the bench. He's put in more 3s than Steph Curry this season.

If Laporte and Stones are fully fit that is the team he should go with
Maybe Akanji at RB as Walker looks out of sorts at the moment
However, it seems likely he will go with Lewis

Akanji at right back against rashford is an absolute suicide mission. If not walker, it will be rico.

But I still have faith in walker to do a job, hopefully pep feels the same.

Agreed but Cancelo, even though out of form, performs that role better than Ake who is not a left wing back full stop. And as others have alluded, Cancelo will deal better with Anthony’s cutting in onto his right foot.

Laporte not Cancelo his heads not in the right place for this game. I can sense a draw out of this encounter and not a win for us . I am a very negative person and I’ve had a bad week so far.

Akanji at right back is a good bet too, Walker just edges it offensively, probably Pep will go with Lewis.

Akanji has been next to useless.the few times he's been there. Just play the players in their natural fucking positions.
