I am so spaced on valium to fly, they would have no problem dragging me out. That doctor squealed a bit.

Yep. Airline says it was for 4 staff members.

Worst bit is that it just shows how much people will put up with if somebody is wearing a badge. Not one person stepped in to say what they were doing was out of order

Good on the guy for not giving in. I'd have just complied but it's ridiculous to be hauled off a plane because it's overbooked. The authorities should come down hard on the airline. I feckin hate airlines. It's health and safety everywhere until your stuck like a sardine in those seats. Airlines have been getting away with treating people like shit for too long. At least us giant fat folk.
