If some media are reporting they are happy with the outcome I'd tend to believe them.

Just a thought, to stave off this power grab from the rags and dippers. Could Mansour, Abramovich, the Chinese consortium that owns Wolves, Leicester’s owners and maybe even Everton’s put their hand in their back pockets and bail out the football league.

Then go for reform of equal votes for every premier league member, equal distribution of tv rights (no special privileges if you play in red).

Owners can spend what they want.

keep the charity shield as it does what it says raises money for charity. (Not giving teams in red an extra weekend to be in Asia and America playing money spinning friendlies).

Sort your own crumbling wreck of a stadium out, it’s not the premier leagues fault it looks like a cow shed with holes in the roof.

Match officials and VAR monitors have all their communications transmitted on broadcasts and in the stadium where permitted.

Still think there should be a premier 2 with premier 1 reduced to 18 teams premier 2 have 20 teams and have 4 teams that can get promoted to premier 1 but that 4th from bottom relegation spot you play off with a the premier 2 team so the team in premier 1 has a second chance! It also gives teams getting relegated more chance of coming straight back up with the possibility of 4 teams getting promoted. The leagues below be regionalised to save cost on travel. Have the distribution of premier money down the leagues increased by 25% also.

Now that’s a revamp that be good for football in my opinion.

They voted against it to avoid any embarrassment that might come their way! What a couple of shite, conniving clubs they are! Had they voted for it, they could have gone ahead with the new league - Opposite Ends of the East Lancs League -and been the only two in it. They could play each other every other week, kick the shite out of each other in the Opposite Ends of the East Lancs League Cup and both would qualify for the CL, if Uefa recognised the OEotELL! But then, in any of the fixtures, who would get the soft pen?
