United Away Tickets On Sale Soon

Please explain to me,which group of people, you see as points whores.
Because I see the same group of people at all City away matches, who all have over 15000 points.
These people have been going for years and it is their life
Not a one of them would points whore.
So who are we looking at ?
And if we/you know,do something about it.
I have no idea who these people are but tickets appear on the Facebook site very quickly after going on sale, would you knowingly buy a ticket to something you have no intention of going to ?

It does seem strange if what you say happens and tickets appear for resale soon after, having never been on Facebook I have never seen it but it does sound wrong.

Haha your getting the hang of it !
In all honesty its affecting people far higher up the loyalty ladder than us .would be really annoyed if you had around 9000 ish points and you missed out by people doing this.

So the answer is,buy one of there, and go back to the club with it.
They will be able to trace it and you will have put a stop to it.

You have done the hard miles and deserve the rewards that go with it no problem.
But as a principle do you agree with what's happening with the Facebook site ?

Definitely not.

I know some people wont be happy with this approach but IMO it is not difficult for the club to police. If somebody buys the ticket from there they should be able to report it to the club and the member/club who that ticket was allocated too is banned from buying away tickets for the rest of the season. But the person who bought the ticket can still go. There is the Grey area that people at the last minute can not go but that is different than trying to move them weeks in advance.

Could it be City staff who are re-selling them on F/b? I assume they are allocated a certain number of away tickets. But as Chappie and others have said why not just report the ticket details back to the club?

Just said last night that whilst you dont know many of their names, you sure as hell notice the same faces all around the country..

Until you go to the more high profile games, and most London games, where it's just full of tourists.

Its not in my nature to go reporting people and in some ways the people who are doing it are just maintaining their rightful position in the loyalty points setup.
However having missed out on the capital one cup final by 100 points it grates a bit.
Did notice at Everton how many 15/17 year olds that you had to wonder how they would have got their tickets on the points system.

You are so out of touch with the system and how it operates.
Junior season ticket holders are allowed to get a ticket, irrespective of loyalty points with a qualifying adult season ticket holder-hence the kids at Everton
You personally cannot be a regular match attendee,if you could not get a ticket for the Carling cup final, when we were allocated the best part of 35000 tickets.

Don't really see what's wrong with 'Points Whoring'? Someone gets a ticket thy wouldn't get otherwise and the other person gets loyalty points. Win-win for both parties.
